Once in a while an artist comes along with a passion and natural talent that only the quality of his workmanship matters. Every so often such artists fly under that radar of their generation. We have taken a conscious decision to share skills of Takalani Ligege with the world. His work should speak volumes and stand its ground among giants in the field. We see great potential in his work future investment pieces. Takalani Ligege is currently scheduled for a Residency  in 2015 at Artist Proof Studio to produce a body of work that will form part of his first Solo Exhibition titled “Transparent letters.”

Recent group shows include:

August 2014: The FNB Joburg Art Fair, one of the biggest art fairs in Africa that future well known artists such as William Kentridge (world renowned print maker), Damien Heist, Gerald Sekoto, David Kurt e.t.c.

September 2014: Mapungubwe heritage festival at Mapungubwe world heritage site, exhibited alongside Hendrick Nekhofhe, Avhashoni Mainganye And Meshack Raphalalani

January to April  2015: Currently working on commissioned work designing a public art sculpture for The Department of Arts and Culture, South Africa.
